Eligibility

Open to all Malaysian citizens and permanent residents aged 18 and above.

Campaign Period

The campaign will take place between 21 – 27 every month.

The exact date and time for the Blind Box release will be announced closer to the campaign period via JOMhotel’s official channels.

How to Participate

• During the campaign period, participants can purchase a Blind Box for RM10 through JOMhotel’s platform.
• Each Blind Box contains a 1-night hotel stay voucher at a participating Malacca hotel.
• Hotel allocation is random and cannot be selected or exchanged.
• Blind Boxes are available on a first come, first serve basis, while stocks last.
• Participants must provide a valid phone number and email address for communication and voucher delivery. Incorrect or invalid details may result in forfeiture of the Blind Box.

Hotels

• Participating hotels’ areas will be announced on our social media platform.
• Specific hotel details will only be revealed after a Blind Box is successfully purchased.

Hotel Policies

• Deposit may be collected upon hotel check in.
• As this is a Blind Box booking, the official check-out time follows the respective hotel’s standard check-out policy.
• All property facilities and amenities will be revealed when we provide you with the booking details, including the hotel name.
• Location of the hotel will be revealed when we provide you the booking details.

Prizes & Redemption

• Each Blind Box guarantees one (1) room night stay voucher.
• The voucher is valid only for the date the participant books the hotel. No changes, cancellations, or reschedules are allowed.
• Vouchers are valid for the stated hotel only and subject to the hotel’s availability and booking policies.
• Vouchers are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Redemption details (e.g., booking procedure, check-in instructions) will be provided with the voucher.

Limitations

• Each participant may purchase a maximum of one (1) Blind Box per campaign.

Taxes

• Participants are responsible for settling any applicable taxes collected by the property upon check-in.
• Certain states impose additional mandatory charges as determined by the respective local authorities, including but not limited to:
• Penang and Melaka: Heritage Fee
• Port Dickson: Sustainability Fee (effective 1 November 2025)
• These state-imposed fees shall be collected directly by the hotel upon check-in.
• All other state-imposed fees shall be collected by the hotel directly during check-in.
• The Government of Malaysia and respective state authorities reserve the right to amend, revise, or introduce new taxes, levies, or fees, including changes in rates or implementation dates, without prior notice. Guests and/or bookers shall be liable for any such changes as applicable at the time of stay.

Other Terms

• JOMhotel reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the campaign at its sole discretion without prior notice.
• JOMhotel is not responsible for any changes, restrictions, or cancellations imposed by participating hotels.
• By participating, you agree to allow JOMhotel to use your name and social media handle for campaign-related announcements.
